im building a winch in my manufacturing class and was wondering if any one knows about gear ratios i have a 6.5 hp engine and all the metal. i have no idea what the sprocket size should be?

17 tooth clutch, 85-87 tooth sprocket. i did the math when my grinch came with the wrong gear ratio.

Hey man..........can't help with those ratios........but I'm trying to build my own winch tambien............where did you get your engine?

Umm. I know what a winch is but what is the use when your wakeskating? Do you rig it up to pull you or something? Sorry if it's a bit of a newb question, but I gotta learn somewhere.

to do deep water starts, your going to have to tweek the governor. i don't know how to do this yet. so if any one knows anything about briggs & stratton engines and tweeking governors, holla at me.
