Finally after like 9 months of being able throw and get close, i finally landed a kick flip... I know its not that big a deal, but i have just been trying so hard to land one, and i have come so close soo many times, and i really felt it was impossible for a wile. It was such a huge frustration, its just a huge wieght lifted of my shoulders just to even land one and know that i can do it and that its possible!. i am just super stoked to final land it.... i was just bummed that my camera ran out of battery and i wasnt able to get it on film, along with some other rail stuff.... but i dont even care haha i am just happy i landed it..

Warlock - um yea, i did, but not very often, only when ever i was at my buddys house in austin... i dont really think it helped, i always would practice on the tramp and try it on the water and never come close, it would almost make me scew up. I have this plastic snow skate that i used to use in my garage wich was slick smooth surface, and i think that helped me alot, esp. on lip tricks, it just span alot like a wakeskate on water. And then it was diff. then a skate board for flip tricks, it was really similiar as well. its just the tramp, you cant really pratice the ollie. You just push down and jump and suck up both feet at the same time then flip the board when its level. and on the water my nose would always riseup then i would flip it and it would level off.... wow this is a long comment..... but thats jsut my opinion, i know tons of poeple where the tramp has helped um out alot...

**If you do ollies on the tramp instead of pushing with both feet and jumping with the board, it helps UBER much**

warlock, one fun thing would be to take an old skateboard (deck only) and put two two by fours (cut to the width of the board, of course) where the trucks would be mounted. So you'd have a skate deck, but it's off of the ground a couple of inches. then you can practice true ollies, 720 shuvits, 540 big spins, backflip 180s...and unmobbed kickflips, if that's really your thing. Very Happy

Seriously though, my skate shop has one and it's a blast to play around on when the manager is gone. And again, you really aren't going to develop any "bad" habits because you have to work for it, much like you would on a skateboard (in fact, it's harder to ollie since the deck is so low to the ground). Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend doing this. They're nice for wintertime...

And Iamjesse, congratulations on the new trick!
