Here's a Hype Platinum 112 from '02, which I think is their first year making wakeskates.

i thought the big banana board was the first wakeskate made by hyperlite... could be wrong...not sure,i could be wrong...

that was their first wood skate (pretty positive), the sbgs were soon to follow...

I believe Hype's first was the waterskate. It was blue with grey traction pads.

yeah, hype's first decks came out to the public in 98 (though he had a proto in 97 that basically didn't see the light of day). 02 was the first year for wood from hyperlite...
