Well it didnt suck, but knowing about those guys so long, and kind of knowing the "real" story. I felt it was a little overdramatic. Like the story of Jay, His relationship with his mom was totally different, and his real stepdad, Kent Sherwood, was the original owner of Z-Flex Skateboards.

Jay's mother Philaine, his Stepdad (who wasnt even in the movie), were the ones who drove all of those kids around to the contests, to different skate spots, you name it. They totally were totally supportive. Now Tony Alva's family was really the way it was portrayed, although I feel the movie kind of played with his story a little too. Like him punching one of the judges at the Del Mar Contest, that never even happened.
