trampoline question

H'okay, so i just got a trampoline for christmas, and i want it to last. When i was wakeskating for the first time, i had my impulse on it, my dad told me it wasn't a good idea. He said that the grip tape will wear it down, and it will eventually rip. So, i am definately not going to stop, but do you guys have any ideas on making it last longer. Or is this not even true? My neighbor has a trampoline and we always had blank decks on it and it is fine. So...what can i do? I was thinking about putting foam around the edges...but i really don't know...

dont worry about it, ive had the same tramp for over 8 years, the only time i ever had to re-tarp it was when my sis had partys or the tarp was just old and my friend fell through it, not once has my skate with grip tape done anything to cause wear on the surface......

garentee the grip will never harm the tramp, that material is thick and strong... a little sand paper wont hurt it, and the grip doesnt touch the tramp that often.

when i was younger, i went through ours on my snowboard. tried a gay ass front flip, and the nose went right through. keep metal edges away!

hahhahha, i did that when i was a youngin, i nailed some old shoes to a blank skate deck and folded over the nails.....= dumb asss hahhahaha

shoudl have tied shoe laces onto it and your feet

u could just screww th shoes on, then cut the end onf the screws off, or get bolts.
