oooops yeah i was wrong. those handles are exchangable. i might have been getting straightline confused with hard line or something? who knows.

i do love my SL amoeba handle. its got a bigger diameter but damn...so guuushy and soft and grippy and yummy Cool

what do you guys like about the carbon handles? ive used them from time to time and dont see any benefits over regular handles.

scott a, the carbons are really nice to ride with because they are light and dont roll at all, but they are very expensive and probably not worth the money considering how weak they are. ive seen a couple handles just destroyed because they fell on the ground.

classik5onit, Unnecessary. Bulky, breakable, and expensive with no benefits.

I've had my carbon for 3 years now and it's held up well, and it has taken a beating now and then, my only complaint is the foam is starting to come off from peoples rings Evil or Very Mad

I have te murray handle, it isnt carbon fibre, but its got semi hard plastic shafts that go all the way up the /\ part, it doesnt roll, its lite and costs about $70-#80 less than a carbon fibre handle, i'd try and get an '05 one because i think hl changed it this year.

that catalyst handle looks sick, but pretty much any straightline will be just as good as that but half the price

my handle is wrapped in blue sports tape Cool

che blanc, id suggest trying sports tape since its texture has more grip than duct tape and is the same price.

Yeah, I have a new 17" Helium Dragon handle, same as the Josh Sanders handle, but bigger. This thing is sweet. Super comfy grip. I got this because I didn't want to spend the cash on a carbon handle, but wanted something that didn't roll and was light. A great alternative to carbon. Check it out at www.heliumwake.com

As previous people have said about the murray handle, it is one of the best handles out there, light durable and comfy. what more do people want, apart from spending an unesessary $40-50 for a carbon handle that could be spent of gas money for the boat/pwc.

From what I've heard carbon handles break/chip/come apart really easily...and IMO they're just too freakin' expensive. I have a '05 Accurate Byerly V grip and it's really light...not as light as a carbon, but lighter than most other handles. It's also really comfortable and floats like a cork...and you can't beat the price.
