hey, whats going on with the wwsa stuff for next year? also i needed to talk to the owner guy about some stuff. anyone got any info?

April-30-May 2- Orlando Florida
May 22-23- Fort Worth Texas
June 5-6- Reno Nevada
July 10-11- Irive California
And Vans Triple Crown is....
June 19-20- Portland Oregon
Aug 19-22- Indianapolis India (Nationals)
Sept 30-Oct 3- Orlando Florida |

There is still wakeskating in the pro tour so ull still see it in kelowna but you wont see the wwsa wakeskate tour in kelowna.

Here is the offical schedule for the Pro Tour and Triple Crown:
Pro Wakeboard Tour
Apr 30 - May 2 - Orlando, Florida
May 22 - 23 - Ft. Worth, Texas
June 5 - 6 - Reno, Nevada
July 10 - 11 - Kelowna, BC, Canada
July 17 - 18 - Irvine, California
Vans Triple Crown of Wakeboarding
Jun 19-20 - Portland, Oregon
Aug 19-22 - U.S. Nationals, Indianapolis, Indiana
Sep 30-Oct 3 - WWA Worlds, Orlando, Florida
Malibu Open, June 11-13 - Sacramento CA (probably no wakeskating)
The location in Orlando hasn't been set - either OWC or Crane's Roost. Notice that Kelowna is part of the Pro Tour. Still to be scheduled are the Masters and X Games, which will be in LA again and probably in August. Those two events probably won't have wakeskating, although I think it should be in the X Games (and I'm sure plenty of people hope it's NEVER in the X Games).
It'll be interesting to see if the WWSA ends up doing the wakeskating for the pro tour (I doubt it) or if they have a separate tour (expensive to put on and requries a lot of time and effort from a lot of people). It wouldn't be too bad if they just hold the contests at cable parks though. |
