do you know what mpg you get out of it?? i just put full blown exhaust on it so it sounds pretty mean now....I just need a k&n filter and its good to go...Mine only had 19000 on it...So it was brand new..The only thing i don't like about it is that the oil I'm using now is synthetic so it cost about 60 bucks to change the oil and oil filter

vance, that's not too bad since it's a 350... those things are tanks and respond well to good maintenance.

127,000 miles

its 5 years old and the guy who owned it before us did landscaping and managed a bunch of crews and jobsites, so he was always driving.

$60 for a synthetic change is nothin. I pay $75 for good ole regular oil in my 7.3liter diesel f-250. The beast is awesome but the oil is expensive!

i didn't get the z71 package...i figured i wanted more miles per gallon instead of four wheel drive. I know everyone says o get four wheel drive for the snow....well, i have gone up to the snow many many times, and i can count on one hand that i have used four wheel drive...and that's in 5 years of snowboarding....Plus, I'm not going to go skiing when its pouring down snow..

But yes, the v8 5.3 sounds awesome when it gets around 3,000 rpm's...Now with my exhaust on it, its even better Very Happy

headhuntermx4, if i where you id ge custom exhaust. this muffler place by me does a kickass job. You tel them what you want. for me id tell them i want dual pipes, 3 inch pipes with 3.5 inch tips and just tell them how you want it angled.

its the same price if not cheaper for custom and it sounds 10x better than flowmasters or anything. for what ive said above, stainless steel pipes, it cost me about 270. and they bend it and install it for free.
