Gibson SG Voodoo here. My influences include Led Zep, Rush, Hendrix, RHCP, AC/DC and Audioslave.

What other equip you guys use, like amps and pedal? I use some P.O.S. 88 watt knockoff amp and a Boss MT-2 distortion pedal. Hopefully I'll be getting a Marshall 150 watt amp for Christmas because my pickups have so far pretty much destroyed my current amp.

I play street punk, punk, and ska music. Check out the link in my signiture to here me sing and play. if you like leftover crack, choking victim, or opertion ivy you'll probably like us

Sounds like you have a ground issue. Does your amp have a 2 prong cord? If so take it to an elctronic shop and have them install a 3 prong. I have done this to a couple of my vintage tube amps. Also some amps have a ground switch ( on the picture of my Marshall above it is the switch on the far left) if you have one of these you may want to try it in another position.

deepcove, yes its a 2 prong cord, im going to be getting a 3 prong cord as soon as i can, and no it doesn't have a ground switch. I think it may be leaking at the chassy (sp?) as well.
