yea so i just got this, ive been downloading music, then scanning it, is their a need to scan the file. Then i did a search videos, and "foundwhat if" the blind skateboard video. is this illegal? and is the music illegal? will yall fill me in,thanks

i dont have limewire pro but i downloaded what if? from the free version of limewire and it was great. do it. i dont know if that answered your question cun i dont know about limewire pro.

i<3wksk8, downloading copywrited music off of limewire pro is illegal. Limewire pro is free software, but they make people pay for it so they think what they are doing is legal. It's the same thing as Kazaa/Morpheus/the original Napster/etc.

It's not good software, and is especially not the best way to acquire music (whether legally or not, there are much easier/better options out there.) If you payed money for Limewire, you got ripped. The reason why it costs 20 bucks or whatever it costs, is b/c they take out all of the adware/spyware that was in the non pro version and added a couple of extra features.

Legal options for downloading music include Itunes, you pay for each song individually, Napster you can get unlimited access to their music supply for a monthly fee, Yahoo music, same idea as Napster and a couple of others. There are others out there too.

integrity640, it's highly unlikely that you would be caught by the FBI for downloading a little bit, it's the people that share tons and tons of music that are getting in trouble. (10 hours is not a lot at all).

what other porgrams are you guys using to illegally download music? ive been pretty satisfied with limewire however i heard bearshare is good too?
