instead of having a board with a width of 14-15 inches, why dont we have a board thats 10-11 inches long. Wouldn't it be easier 2 do flip tricks with this? _________________ Sigs are stupid |

Wouldn't it be easier for all of us if you used your brain sometimes and thought before you posted?? _________________ Shake off the dust...ARISE |

skate_hyperlite, on a bi your feet would still drag. you could make a skinny board if you want to ride with both feet pointing straight at the boat, then you could call it like........................waterskiing. |

ive used a board for a knee board b4.
skate_hyperlite, why dont you just go buy a skate board and show us how it would work. these guys are right about your feet dragging. when your foot hits the water at 20+mph, its the worst pull your groin will ever feel. |

u'll jus be outta control the whole time and spraying everywherewith a thinner board and even if u did make 1 thinner that was controlable and ridable u'd have to be like really exact w/ ur landings so basically ur making 1 thing easier(flipping) but another thing harder(landing) |

Well in order for it to even really plane out at 20 mph it would have to be very very long to make up for it's lack of width. Speaking souly on surface area. A board with large surface area will ride higher on the water because the weight is being displaced over a greater area. thus the inverse is true with a board with less surface area... I don't think flips are really a problem, I mean 360 flips are being landed by a few people. I think the sky is the limit for wakeskates, I can't wait to see where it goes in the near future. _________________ The aforementioned postings and musings are the opinions of myself in their entirety and are not the opinions of wakeskating.com |

I like fatter boards. If I could get away with having a 15 inch wide deck skateboarding, I would do it. _________________

I saw a kid ride at owc on a skateboard deck. He only made it halfway around but it was pretty cool that he actually was able to ride on such a small surface area |
