Yo Maryland is pretty nice right now, I rode a full suit today 2/3 and a spring suit yesterday. I was warm for 2 hours before my feet started getting cold. Booties next month. The cold can't keep me down as long as it's not raining and not real windy I'm trying to get out there. If I'm not out there, I'm trying to get out there. _________________ dbanana wrote:

How do you guys like riding in a drysuit vs wetsuit? I've never used a drysuit, it seems nicer.
The air here today was mid 60's and the water _________________ dbanana wrote:

i ride in both my dry suit and my wet suit. Right now i'm not sure which one i prefer. The water is 54 degrees at my local spot and a wet suit is great. Once water drops below 50 i'm sure i'll be wearing the dry suit again though! _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

As Cary.K mentioned, we went out yesterday. Heater shirt and shorts. I was a whimp and wore a spring suit.

| I rode my Drysuit in MD on sat and my 3/2 on sunday. water was 57 I think. I hate my drysuit because it sucks my will to ride by choking me to death (i got a big neck). So I bought a killer wetsuit to cut down on the drysuit time. For the most part the drysuit is better in the early spring since the water is always colder in april then November. |

I love my drysuit! It's true the drysuit is tight around the neck, but really - who can beat wearing a hoodie and long pants underneath? Then you get out of the water, take the suit off, and you're completely dry! Just throw a beanie on and you're good to go!
It doesn't affect my riding... _________________ JAM |

lol you southerners crack me up (i used to live in texas and florida) im from texas and <3 the warm weather/water, but riding up here in northern indiana, you kinda of become accustomed to the cold water. Id go riding early in the morning when it was 45 degrees and the water was 58 just using my life jacket as a source of heat. nlol then it really got cvold out and i bought a ripcurl 3/2 fireskin wetsuit. i went out friday night and the air was 60 and the water was probably in the 40's. My body was warm, but my hands and feet went numb after 10 minutes of riding i miss texas and its warm water _________________ They call me Dr. Jones

Whatever,
As an ex-Floridian, I wish we had wakeskating when I grew up there...
Screw the drysuit! I'm going snowskating tomorrow! Ah, yes, snowskating... As strappers are to wakeskaters, boarders are to snowskaters... Got a brand new Gnu snowskate. Going to poach the local resorts (4-5 feet of snow at some places!). You warm weather dudes shoud check into it.
Anyone from Naples, FL wakeskating these days? I'm coming home for Christmas and would like to get a few pulls in. 23rd-1st _________________ JAM |
