Team Tx. takes 1st & 2nd at U S Championship in Bakersfeild Ca. .T.Ganian of austin takes top spot . Ace Cox from( Baton Rouge La.) but rides for Team TX. takes the 2nd spot again. Ace took 2nd place last year at INT,s first wakeskate U.S..Championship. 3rd was R.parker of N.C... There were only 59 points between 1st & 2nd place.. The South was well represented with ARK riders J.allen finishing 4th & Chad G. 7th .. So ARK/LA/TX took 3 out of top 4 spots. Well done _________________ Bigg Dog |

So does anyone know what tricks the wakeskaters were throwing down at this comp? I rode against one of the guys who were in this at a comp in NorCal. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

Ok to answer some questions... INT is for those people that are not up to a pro level and want to ride in a tournament type setting. The INT has been around for many years now and is the largest grass roots contest Nation wide. For some riders the INT tour is a little under par., if thats the case then go take a shot at the pro tour. INT is there to bring families and riders of all ages together from all over the state and US. More pros have come from INT than any other organization. True that wakeskate is lacking in the INT events with them only having one division, but wakeskate is some what new to the ranks of watersports. Next year INT well be offering a outlaw division and a novice division as far as I know. Wakeskate in INT went from last years top riders doing shuvits and wake to wakes...to this years riders doing shuvits on and off the lip, body varials, big spins, wake to wake HS & TS, wake to wake 180s, kickflip (attempts), and shuv 3's... That's a big leap for riders from last season to this season. Who knows...INT wakeskaters may have shuv 3's and kickflips as standard tricks in a pass, along with wake to wake shuvits or varials next year. INT has been there supporting our sport and giving the grass roots rider a place to compete against others of there own skill level for years...
Brain F. was out there along with many other pro wakeboarders for the event. Last year Even Lykes came in and did a skate demo (and you can't tell me that kid does not kill it...)
Most of the riders that go to nationals have a great time and get the chance to meet others from all over the nation, which I think is well worth the trip. Along with all the pros and just a week of hanging with the people that make our industry what it is....us the riders.
