went to circuit city today...there was a really rad sub there that hit hard as hell...$300...screw that...got home, ebayed that shizzle...$140 shipped...on it's way to my house..feedback??

I hope so man!

it will take me another 3 months to save up for an amp though

then probably another month or so to get all the wiring/build the kicker rec. box Evil or Very Mad

and then another 6 months to save up for all the parts this thing is going to knock off my car Very Happy

Kickers are definately known for being able to produce high SPL levels. Ive heard those in a few cars, can make some sickening loud and low bass, not the best sound quality though. Good for playing rap and such, not so great on rock. Nice job on the ebay deal.

you can get a decent amp on ebay.. i got a coustic 480 for like $40. (for my cooler stereo) that bridged mono could easily make those bump... i used to run a older version of this amp on 2 kicker pro 12s but the xm3 crossover is a MUST!!!!!!!!!! don't skimp there.

freerider4, yeah what Chris Barcellos said... If you get just good subwoofers and no other good speakers, you're music is still going to sound like trash...

It's all about the getting the mids and the tweeters to accompany the woofer to get really good sound. I don't really care b/c I listen to my ipod through my tape deck, so I don't really get good sound regardless... but it's rediculous when people get two 15s and a 500$ amp and then they don't upgrade the rest of the system and all you hear/feel is bass
