| Yeah, it was pretty bad. You would think with all the problems that they have had in the past they would try a little harder.

Yeah! What jboss said.
I like my Integ '04 Team, but I want something that pops harder on w2w. I saw a couple of Cassette Flats and a 4-Trac on Shasta last summer, but no bi-levs. It is a bummer that the wakeskate tech has not been fully dialed; however, it is cool that the sport, unlike strapping, is still young. I think I will wait for the '06 gear to drop.
PS I don't care if all the skates suck next year. It will still be better than strapping.

The gator wakeskate, the black 42 concave, has awesome pop on w2w. I would check that out if all possible.

Ok all of you ws.com dudes need to know your facts before you run your mouth! Thomas did not receive his shipment of the new bi's and the graphics werent ready in time, so he wasnt very motivated about the show.. I have talked to all the shops that have receive the new cassette stuff (new wood) and there have been NO problems with it.. Thank you and wakeskate77, I bet you they will selll alot of boards. It was funny how many dealers still came after they had no booth.....

I do to, why do you think I said it? The cassette (BS) wheel just keeps going round and round.

| If I were running a company I know I wouldn't have CONSISTENT problems with product and product production....and I would make it number one priority to have my product on display at an event like surf expo in the city of Orlando, where the largest part of their consumer on the globe resides. I respect Cassette, but they got some bad karma or somethin.

Surf expo is either a hit or miss opportunity and unfortunatly alot of companys have to ship their stuff to these venues which is either a hit or miss. I think its funny how people rag on shizzle like this. Alot of this stuff cant be done on time for other reasons. You should have seen some of the other EMPTY booths. I feel bad for a company that pays for a booth and cant use it.... just my 2 cents from attending these for quite a few years, its doesnt always go as planned.

jboss, FYI, integrity hasn't had a booth at the expo for the last TWO years. I won't really drag omen into this too much, becuase I'm not sure if sleu was going to have his own booth or not. But he only had one board at that show as well. So in that regard, the booth argument is f-ing meaningless. And you know what? At this point, it's fine because as long as those companies can have some straight shizzle and make some good boards, people will buy them. People who care know what board they want, regardless of if it was at the expo or not.
And, correct me if I'm wrong (I may have misunderstood what I've read), but I'm pretty sure DC didn't have a booth a this surf expo either. I didn't get to read the whole article (it was in transworld business) but they're changing how they do these sorts of things.
So flame on, young ones. It's clear we have nothing better to do than to pick on various so-and-so's.

This has nothing to do with Cassette, but IIRC, booth space this year cost $180 / SF. So a 10' x 10' booth would have cost a company $18,000. If I were a business owner, I would really have to think twice about paying that kind of money. It certainly is good exposure, but it could also run a small business into the ground.

Cary K., a SF is 1x1, so a 10x10 booth would cost $1800. still pretty pricey though.

THATS WHY you gota use the gurila tactics , Post up in a hotel, tell people about your boards friday and saturday ( well saturday if one of your team riders isn't at the hotel barfing his brains out ) and show up sunday with boards in hand... f#%# a booth, You dont need it.
Oh yeah and Dont you think companys like Sattelyte, Omen, and Integ... Could use there money in a better way then a booth to show off boards to a handfull of industry d!ck smokers ??? Does the fact that these companys didn't have a booth, discourage any of you from buying a board???? NO!!!!!!! I hate that eliteist (spelling?) crap.
jboss, check your math again.

Pirate, sattelyte didn't have a booth? I wasn't there, and i never read a write up so I don't know who all was there and whatever else. In the end, this whole thread was the dumbest argument ever because as it's turning out, a number of wakeskate companies didn't have a booth at the event.
Hydroslide...did they have a booth? If so, you could buy one of those...

A SF is 1x1, correct. A 1x10=10 would be $1800, a 10x10=100 would be $18000. I deal with the construction industry, computing SF is a constant calculation in my line of work.
