what is a hardflip , my friend told me it was a kickflip between your legs but hes kinda Crazy Eyes

hes thinking of a skating hardflip... thats where the board does more of a backflip between your legs and then spins half a kicklflip. theoretically its a front shuv and a kickflip and seeing how people dont like huge 41" boards flying between their legs people just do wakeskating hardflips as an actual front shuv and kickflip.

mastercraft107, wakeskates are on WATER, it wouldnt hurt that bad. have you ever got racked tryin to hardflip off a ledge on a skaterboard, you know, when the concrete (which doent flex or givw way) and the force off gravity smashes a thin yet stiff board into your genitals? cuz i have and its no fun

myers, You are actually wrong... a hardflip defined by Rodney Mullen "the guy who invented the trick" says its a k-flip with a fs shuv.

The trick you are calling a "skate trick" is actually called a illusion flip. The two are commonly called the same trick even though they are actually two different tricks.

iv been skating for quite some time now and never heard of a virtical hardflip called an illusion flip...but i dont care i really dont

jboss, I will argue this till my eyes bleed... Considering that i was sitting in on a discussion with Mullen and some of the guys from skateboarder mag during a interview and they were talking about all tricks he has invented and this topic came up because so many people argue this fact.

In his own words he described the difference between the two tricks... I dont know anything about skateboard-city.com BUT i do know what he said, So until i hear him say anything different thats what im going by.
