have many of you traveled in airports w/ your skate and a bag like that ?? i'm going to be traveling w/ mine in a month and wondered if i should wrap the deck in a big towel before putting in the bag etc... cause those fockers at the airport are brutal on luggage...

yes wrap them in towels they treat boards like pieces of shizzle.. I have had 3 skimboards damaged by the airlines this past year. My skimboards are over $450 bucks. As nick said tell them they are boogie boards and if they ask why they are so heavy or what ever tell them your a pro and these are pro boards. Dont pay the extra shipping charge fight it, you wont loose. MAKE SURE YOU WRAP IT BEFORE YOU FLY!!!!!! You will be a pissed off civilian if your board is cracked, dinged, or anything like that. And if it is damaged you will be responsible not them..... happy flying
