Shoot I believe him. I e-mailed tony Finn when they got back in business about how excited I was they were back in business. He told me they need more people like me on the team and offered a deal. But at the time I was sponsored by a board shop that carried HL so I had to decline. Now Im riding for someone who carries LF so I guess it would have been cool to take the offer but o well. I did this to say Lf doesnt care as much about skill as the do promotion and good attitude...

sim, u want to know why bc last time i checked this sport was not CHEAP i rather be sponsered and get discounts or free gear instead of paying full price this sport is awesome i would never give up bc its pricey but im just saying its not cheap!!

theirs no way to get sponsered on the east coast for wakeskating. i no some1 who got sponsered by LF for wakeboarding. but thats only because hes siick.

flyguy1823, Its just a matter of time. I'm seeing more any more wakeskating on my lake...I sponsored by The Wake Shop for wakeboarding and wakeskating...and Jetpilot is just boarding...

WaKeSk8Er1234, they do, but my deal with them is wakeboarding only. But some of the team riders are wakeskate only...and some are 50/50,70/30...so on...Just depends on how good you are at either one...and which you compete in, and which you do more of...

I dont think that you are on the team... you probably bugged the hell out of her and she finally said LEAVE ME ALONE YOUR ON THE TEAM! and gave you 1/2 off on supplies... why get sponsered if your not that good? wow am i the only one who finds this a lil fishy? rickythompson, its not the kind of thing you would lie about (unless your desperate for an "image") because that infomation could be recovered fairly easy if you really wanted it.

im not saying that your not on lf but it takes some hardwork to get sponsored, by hard work i mean many years. Unless your a child prodigy, (because your pretty young), it just seems weird.

Parky, did you sign any contracts? If not then you're not on the team. There's a difference between getting some flow and being sponsored. Also, if you're paying cost for the stuff then you are definitely not sponsored.

there something called a "b" team were u still pay for boards but u pay wat a store would pay to get the board in the shop like a 650$ can. board for 200$ can. and im not on the pro team u dont need to sign a contract Rolling Eyes

Actually you seem to be the one not knowing what you're talking about. Just cause you arent getting paid doesnt mean you cant have a contract. You think all those junior riders who dont get salary but just get product dont have contracts? And how do you consider paying cost for boards being sponsored? You're just buying boards without the middlemans markup.

shut up grommits. Dank' IS right, respect your elders, they know a f*ckload more about things than you. I have many sponsored friends, and only two are pro, but all of them have contracts. by the way, four of them have contracts with liquid force, and they get 3 boards, 2 pairs of bindings, and trade price on anything else. Parky my friend, if your telling the truth, then your being robbed blind!!

WaKeSk8Er1234, you need to do a bit more work with socialising. I've turned down sponsors, and I still ride for free and get cheap stuff. You need to know the right people, not sell your soul. I've ridden at O' dub for free as well, and I live in england, so theres no excuses you can use to justify the grommit sponsor hunt I'm affraid.

sim, Shut up OLD SCHOOL! Parky IS right. I've dealed with LF on sponsorship. If they had a contract for all the regional riders thats dont get free stuff they would have too many contracts to keep up with. If you dont get stuf for free then you dont get a contract. There is no reason...Maybe you should quit acting like you better than people just because you older or THINK you know more. Your post showed how out of date you are. You need to read up on the times. Thats all I have to say. If you really wanna question it as Tony Finn or Don Wallace how it works...If I was one of the friends you metioned in your post I would be Embarassed
