I haven't been here in a couple of days, so I'm currently posting to something i read on the first page. So here's the question: why is it that all of a sudden, wakeskating is "the right size" because certain people on here know about it and know they're a part of something small (and special). But where were you all years ago when certain people couldn't even sell boards, or even give free product away, for that matter? Growth is inevitable, and as I said above, certain pioneers did not develop product so wakeskating would be a secret amongst a select few. It's all about healthy growth...

My best interpretation from all of this is the never ending argument of Core vs. Mainstream... I am all for seeing wakeskating grow, but in a healthy direction. It needs to keep its core roots to survive but also have its exposure to the mainstream to understand it and accept it. But if it looses its core roots and new age core riders it will become the next hula hoop in no time.

electricsnow, School issue iBooks. It's the newest idea from the school system, they were trying to figure out the best way to blow $1.5 million (which I'm not sure how they got because they're always complaining about budget problems)... 49/50 kids just play tetris all day...
