|
|
| I was at the Pan American games last weekend in Orlando and saw George Daniels using what I think was a waterproof housing for an iPod with waterproof headphones. Does anybody know where I can get one of these? I wish I could have talked to him and found out what it was. Any help would be great. |

Yeah, I have one. It's by a company called H2O Audio
http://www.h2oaudio.com/index.php
I love mine, works great. They're a bit expensive for what they are (my mini case was about $150) but I use it so much that it's worth it. I take it surfing too. So yeah, there ya go. |

| The otterbox is made a little cheaper. The depth rating is like 3ft i think, not that you will need more for wakeskating, i'd just worry about impact with it. The H2O Audio is rated to 10ft. (Kind of a case of you get what you pay for.) But i haven't really looked into the otterbox much. |

| I would be afraid of losing it in the lake. Where do you keep it? Does it fall off when you crash? |

Ive been selling these units for about 8 months and there awsome. I use mine all the time. they start at about 119.oo delivered in the US. Ive got a bunch on hand and have been selling a lot of them with no returns at all. They charge right through and usb port. We accept all types of credit cards. there is also a write up about them on subvertwakeskate on line mag. There is more info on them on our website www.devotid.com Email me if any body would like any more info. _________________ Never, never, never, never give up

You buy armbands with the cases and they're pretty comfortable, i just wear it on my back arm. The case floats so you don't have to worry about it sinking.
It's a good option if you already have an iPod and just want to make it waterproof, but if you don't those waterproof players look like a good idea. |

| They're a little weird at first. they kind of fit into your ears. They fall off sometimes if your head drags in the water at all, like if you fall headfirst, but they won't come off of the housing so you won't loose em. They stay on fine while under stress from riding (of course, minus the falling i mentioned). |

| Completely worth it. I was a little sketched out on spending money on something like that, but the use i get out of it completely makes up for the price tag. |

| man, got to say what a killer product this is. After hearing everything here, ended up picking one up from H2O Audio for my mini iPod. The first time you get in it is a bit sketchy, but after you figure out it is waterproof it is the greatest thing. You wouldn't think that music is a big deal while you are riding, but man I don't think I could ride without it. It's like beeing in your own world. So worth the price. |
