Do you guys sack the boat down with weight when you wakeskate behind? If so how much weight you using? I just got a Moomba outback and am going to start skating behind it |

From experience...use as much weight as you're comfy with. More wake: More Air.

i definately dont like weighing mine down all wakebaord style. when i weigh it down completely it ends up being around 2100 pounds of ballasta nd then people weight. its not bad for boarding but i dont like the way it lips up quick. makes w2w a little harder. this is different with every boat though. and its all about what you like to ride. just get comfortable with one thing and change stuff to suit your needs as they grow. |

the boat that you have is a ski boat, so it puts out a tiny wake. this could be good or bad, either way you look at it. your wake is maybe a little bigger than a jetskis (no offense) but now you can do inside out tricks, without catching to much air. |

It is labeled as a ski boat but also wakebaot. It may not have the biggest wake of the wakeboats..but somehow I think the wake is much bigger then a jet ski(no offense) |

I tend not to sack my boat out when skating. It basically means longer lines and faster speeds to keep the wake clean. My boat being a 22' I/O tends to have a pretty big and clean wake unsacked at 19-20mph, which is the speed I like skating.
Going big w2w can be fun sacked but beware.I was going for the big w2w's fully sacked, 80ft of line and 24.5mph this summer and I went down hard .Harder then I ever have on a wakeboard which resulted in me being knocked out for a few seconds and a mild concussion _________________ http://www.bellacoolahelisports.com/index.html

e420xx, i ride behind a nautique, and a centurion that are "ski boats" and i love riding with no ballast. My natique has like 500 lbs and we fill that up sometimes but its not needed.
deff....bigger then a jet ski wake though.
This is wakeskating dont think to much about what you "need" do what you want and it will be perfect. |

as much weight as you can put in it. water, beer, even fat chicks, with fat pockets. whatever gets the back end down. jet skis are kind of like the rollerblades of wakeskating if you ask me. but wait what did you ask me? _________________ Never, never, never, never give up

i ride a air natique w/stock ballast. it isnt too much, I think its 360 total lbs. But even without ballast it still has a nice smooth sloping wake. Once in a while i'll fill up the fat sacks and we hit around 2,000 lbs. Landing stuff off a big wake is more of a challenge. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |
