hey flyguy.. pete rose was a baseball player and he would slide into the base face first, i cant remember what you have to do to do a pete rose but you land like your face first or something.. something along that line. or just go to wakeworld.com and check out there list of tricks.
i dont mean you land on your face! |

I'm leary of the idea only because of the possiblity that someone may post something when they really don't know what they're talking about, or they're just misinformed. For instance, for some reason many wakeboarders think that an oriental is grabbed slob, when it's actually a japan grab. You know, there are little things like that that are all over wakeboarding, and I'm sure they're in wakeskating too. Or on that wakeworld message board, I had to "politely argue" about what a big spin was. Whatever, right? _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

It would be moderated (hint..hint) and easily edited/removed by me or other administrators. I wouldn't let just anything be put in there or I would remove it if it got passed me. |

Well, I guess we'll see how it goes. I think the collective effort idea is a good thing because assembling a trick list like that would be a ton of work for one person. It should be interesting.... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

| I am trying to decide on the categories. Give me some suggestions. For example, wake to wake tricks, flip tricks, spin tricks, etc.... |

greg van wagnen, we can't have threads about what is right and wrong. Check out the kickflip rewind and hardflip thing (although the hard flip one is settled now) but we are still arguing about what a underflip is.
electricsnow, sorry but I thought a oriental was grabbed slob. A japan air is a boned/tweaked what ever out mute grab. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

I think that for the good of wakeskating and well, mankind in general, I'll relinquish this appointed responsiblity and pass it on to the one, the only, SEAMAN!!! Please forward all trick questions to this heart breaker.....
Frederick, you're not the only one that has thought that (and you're correct on the japan grab. the problem is that a lot of wakeboarders don't even know a japan grab exists). For some reason it's just one of those common misconceptions in wakeboarding and if at all possible, I'd like to prevent that from happening with wakeskating. But it's not like I'm god. But anyway, I can totally understand where the confusion would come from because tons of people are kind of sloppy (or whatever) with their grabs and just grab japan like three inches from the nose. But anyway, it was just one of a number of examples. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Hmm...I know of a way that you could be almost like god. At least when it comes to the tricks database..... |

| I started working on it this weekend. I need a little more time to work out some minor issues in the code. It should be ready soon. |
