yeah, they are one of my favorite bands. if you like less than jake, you would like taking back sunday, hidden in plain view and hawthorne heights

Between the Buried and Me, Converge, Norma Jean, Botch, The Faint, Black Dahlia Murder, Blood Brothers, Dead to Fall, Winter Solstice, The Chariot, At the Drive In, Mars Volta, Junius, Misery Signals, Throwdown, Unearth, Chromeo... the list goes on and on.

Are we talking alternative rock, or just alternative. Because all the bands you named sound like alternative rock bands to me. In my mind some alternative bands are like modest mouse, bloc party, beck, pinback....

el, the new btbam is absolutely amazing. blood brothers and dead to fall, my best friend's band on purevloume "aim at the kid," casey jones, comeback kid, alexisonfire, silverstein, darkest hour, etc. basically any band with baddd breakdowns. casey jones is probably my favorite
