wakeboarding?

A lot of us here used to wakeboard, still do it from time to time, or still do regularly. My question is, those of you who don't wakeboard anymore, or do very rarely, what wakeboarder motivates you the most to go out there and get back into it?

For me, it would most definately be Greg Necrason, his style is amazing. Like his tweaked out grabs with big 180's or 3's, simple stuff he makes look so smooth.

I don't miss wakeboarding. I ride with wakeboarders and it just doesn't appeal to me all that much... wakeskating is the way to go

I wakeboard more right now but I just started skating sunday. I love harf's style but my favorite rider is JD Webb. He throws the "small" moves really big and stylish. Personally I hate parks's style but I also have to admit he's really good. Shane on the other hand is great.

i wakeboard just about everytime i go out riding i jsut wakeskate more then i wakeboard but i compete in both and also i still follow it just as much as i do wakeskating

But I definatly love wakeskating a lot more, I've only wakeboarded once in the past 7 months or so...

You're right, some people do it to look cool, but there are some, more than you may think, who do it for the sport, and really get stoked doing it. We're all here becuase we love what we do.

i think straping is gay, I haven't wakeboarded in about 2 yrs and on sunday i took one pass in straps and boy was it lame.

Anyway dont strap and if you are at least ride like Lyman.

In all seriouseness though, If you really want to ride the tour next year you shouldn't be Wakeboarding at all, Remember that there are a ton of kids that want it soooo bad that all there going to do is concentrate on skating.
