Thomas was suppose to get more than those 2 decks, I guess when he went to pick up boards to bring to expo, thats all they had. he was suppose to have more saturday and sunday, but that never came together i guess. Thomas's booth was good for a few things, A good place to get your money and your shoes taken (alot of dice playing goin on there, and trust me thomas has taken a few pairs of shoes out of a simple game of dice, he will take the shoes rite off your feet.) also a good place to get away from the crowd sit down and make a phone call. Also, Cassette should of had a lawyer and a collection bucket at his booth for all these companys trying to copy the bi-level. I say Thomas gets $5 a board for every knock off bi-level being sold. what do you think? |

I made it out on sunday afternoon. The decks do look really solid. Not too different from last years at first glance, but then you notice they're shaped a little differently. Really reminded me of a skateboard, a little more rounded at the nose and tail and stuff. I didn't get much of a close look at them, i was talking to Thomas about how they were doing and everything. Hopefully 2006 will work out better than the past two years for them. They really deserve it.
Cody25911, I don't know about you, I was kind of sad to see the blank decks, I know it wasn't their fault, but I was really looking forward to seeing the new graphics. |

The Gator booth wasnt too bad. They had there bus in there site and about two racks with wakeskates and wakeboards. They did have the new Drew pro model and like three diferent variations of the Ryan Doyle Skate. The Doyle skate had a foam top though. |

I thought the doyle skate looked tight minus the foam. |

PIRATE, I thought so too, but it seemed kinda short... i dont know... maybe it was me. I also hooked up with Garry and Emily and saw there new stuff. I love the edge on those boards, they look like a nice ride... i loved that black 41" skate he had in the van. I was bummed because he was gonna let me take some skates and test them out at OWC but I didnt have the time. |

Actually, I don't believe the LF bi-level will be out yet becuase it's not "dialed in" yet. But they are working on something...like that split tail jobby people mentioned before. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

They really need to work on that, I imagine there is some type of composite that would work. Maybe what they're using but add a little flex. I think it can be done to make a composite top deck for a bi-level wakeskate that will work as well, if not better than wood. |
