Hey all, I'm new to the forums, new to everything to do with wakeskating actually and I am planning on building a wakeskate, I've been looking around and I see "3 stage rocker" in some of the descriptions of boards. I know what a rocker is, but could anyone tell me the exact definition of a 3 stage rocker? I would greatly appreciate the help, thanks.

| id like to build a wakeskate, but buying them will be about the same price as making one, and much easier...You will spend quite a bit if you don't already have the supplies needed. |

I'm building it in my schools shop, it will give me a good mark in class, and I'll have something cool to use in the summer. I have designed the entire board in autodesk inventor 10 [a designing program] and it looks great, if all goes well, I could make a bunch of them and sell each one for up to 100 dollars Canadian. Which is not bad, seeing as I'm only putting about 50 dollars into them.

I'm not sure if I'm going to put concave in it yet, I heard it's good to start on a flat deck, but I'm not too sure yet. My design right now doesn't have concave, but I could easily incorporate it into my design. I'll be making it out of maple or birch, probably maple. _________________ Drifting further everyday.

I'f you gonna man one IMO it'll be well worth your time to make it concave. Go out to a couple shops and look at the deck and get some ideas of what you want for sure before you start.
