This gator was recently pulled out of one of our local riding areas. It looks like a freaking dinosaur.

One thing you probably wont miss about the South...
Then again they are WAY more afraid of the boat then you are of them in my experience... Quite funny to watch people freak out about them down at wakeboardcamp... One kid tried to make our Coach drive to the other side of the lake because he "swore that he felt something go past him." needless to say we gave him tons of crap about it.
For real though, that gator is sketch, not the kind I'd like to run into on the streets, that's for sure...

And i thought the gators in my lake wore big, that things huuuuuge.
I have really only had one close call with a gator when i went to shuv over this big patch of grass growing up outta the water, all the sudden i saw this huge tail whip out of the water about 5 ft from me, luckily I landed the shuv but I think the gator was actually just as scared as i was, or atleast i like to think so.

A year or so ago they found one that big if not bigger digging up a culvert in Orlanda area. I'll see if I can find that pic. Yep they just call ol j.t. & I sneaks up right in front of em on my belly wid a little food in my hand. When dem ol gators open up to take a morsel I reaches inside em..grab em by da ashhole & pulls dem suckers inside out...uh huh. Sometimes we has to do the sharks too.

alright, well yall are um... crazy! i was in florida for the pro tour and we went in some public lake and shizzle and at the boat dock the locals where telling us abought a 14 ft gator that lives in the back of the lake, and i get soooo scared of shizzle like that. Like oceans i dont like cause sharks, and we ride in a creek and well i hate it cause i know theres some gators in the i mean i have ridden in there for like 5 years and never seen one, but some guy that lives on the water sais he gets um in his yard during really high tide, but in florida i was freaking out sooo hard core and was just like edging and not doing anytricks and it was kinda choppy well i fell like twice and just couldnt take it, i was scared and the water sucked and i was just like f this i am done, and got on the ski, well we kept going the same direction i was riding in once i got on the ski and sure enough after like 200 ft we just see this big ass gator head just slowly sink under water. i was just like i knew i had a bad feeling!!!! after my frind where just like dont worry we wont even see any! and then on the drive back we huged the shore line and say a 6 ft. just slither into the water... Ahh i hate gators... I like austin, big lakes, no gators, but i guess where i used to live all we had to deal with was posiness snakes everytime we rode we say atleast one, and if that bit you, well yea you die....

HAHAHAHA Something like that happened when Lemons came down, he was asking me about sharks and shît and I was like "dude, you never see them around here" and sure enough as soon as we turn the corner, we see a nice sized blacktip shredding some sheep sammiches and then these fishermen caught it and we petted it

There is something about gators that scare me a lot more than sharks do when i'm surfing or skating in saltwater I never worry about sharks but when i'm in the river the gator is always in the back of my mind.

freerider4, its the other way around for me, gators are scared of everything, dont worry, they are all up in my river and they never bother us, they just chill in the canals and stuff.

I've got some pretty hardcore gators in my river. There is a 12-footer right near the spot where we usually turn our boat around after a pass. Freaks me out sometimes when i fall and don't see him chillen up on shore.
