I have to do a science fair project for school and was wondering if anyone had done any water related type of projects. Id rather do something that was actually interesting.

good one top hat, i was gona do the buoyancy of life jackets, like non cg aproved vs. aproved, or which ones have beter flotation, and how far u can swim down with each one, if the foam is made out of difrent chemicals and what not.

Nick_Sh, A classic but good science project (it sort of has to do with water) is pretty much just growing plants in different conditions. Just as an idea, Freshman year I grew three types of grasses commonly used on lawns in different types of water to see what conditions they could survive in. Basically what it did was show that some grass could use contaminated water and still grow fine.

Or you could do something more directly related. I'm not sure what, but yeah....

Why salt water provides more buoyancy is common knowledge. You have to be an idiot not to know why. If you did that your teacher would give you a big fat F.
