21 aswell, but more like 21.5, I might go down to 21 for getting the feel of a new trick
for w2w I usualy speed up to 22, maybe more If I feel I land short on the second wake

jboss, about the wind, that's normal
When you go against the wind it feels like going much faster and it's harder and more dangerous on tricks. I made a huge split on a shuv against the wind. Wind caught the board at half spin and it went up and caught my front foot

I generally ride at 19-22mph/65 ft./185 lbs...my boat can't hold speed very well...but i definately like it a little slower on most stuff and a little faster on W2W

I ride at 18- 19 mph. I've been riding at 65 ft.. But since I got my boat back I've been doing some w2w stuff at 75.

| 20-21 behind the ski 21-22 behind the boat. Yeah does anyone else ever have that problem where the driver of the ski will start pulling u slower when hes going into the wind because he really feels like hes pulling u at the same speed? I find myself doing it once in awhile also maybe its just me

21 mph behind an x-2
I weigh 185 lb. Any slower than 19-20 takes away that buttery planed feel. Then I would not be able to bust out a surface spin for the strapper hatahs!

i think i ride at 21-22 behind a seadoo wake but maybe 23ish behind a super air and i think about 21 behind a pro star.
does anyone else get screwed up by the speed thing when you move from a boat to a jetski?

PIMP
yeah as Alex said it also depends a lot on the boat and the ballast you have in. I dunno it's weird. On my X-9 I ride at 21.3-21.5 regardless of how much ballast we have in.
On a friend's X-Star I'm at like 23-23.5 on his pp with full ballast filled. Oh, and the x-9 was on saltwater, X-Star was on a lake, maybe that plays a role in the speed u ride at too.
I heard it's easier to ride on fresh water I like to keep it hardcore on saltwater with wind and 10ft waves haha

We used a friends pickup to pull us along the docks downtown the other day and we couldnŽt believe the difference in feel as far as speed goes. Our boat isnŽt the most impressive and we drive fairly slow IŽd say around 17-20, depending on the conditions. When getting pulled by Martins car weŽre hitting speeds at around 25 and Martin insisted on driving at around 30Mph. He stuck a varial and crashed hard soon after. Too bad is was so dark outside - I have it all on film.
Pipo: What speeds are common in the cable parks in Holland ? Are there any good parks around Emmen ?
