Getting new board today

Well today my Hyperlite Catalyst is going to get here. Is there anything that I should put on it to protect it? I've heard of people putting something on them to keep them looking nice.

MLwakeskate, take it and tie a cinderblock to it, make sure the rope is TIGHTLY around it.. then go ride.

Just kidding man, I know any marine sealant is a popular option. It is a wood deck right? Confused

no, not on a catalyst. people put varnish and sealants on wooden decks to protect them from water seeping inside the board.

the catalyst is double layered fiberglass its really rugged no need to do anything but shred it
