it doesnt look like he landed that, it looks more like hes gonna bust his ass from the board hitting him.

the shuvit to indy looks pretty sweet. The board is pretty far away from him, which makes it looks good, but as you said maybe he didn't land it. But who cares since it's a pic hehe. There are so many pics in mags that ended up in a splash Wink

jboss, when it's just a single pic of a guy in the air, or on a slide. It doesn't mean he landed that trick in the end. Most of the time they do, but I'm sure that a fair part of the pics we got in all boarding sports mags end up in a bail Very Happy

I would hope that the photographers/riders/magazine peeps care enough to not put bail/non-landed tricks in mags. That's weak.

Greg T, well, say you are shooting a guy skating and he lands one V flip out of 5. If the best shot is during one of the failed one, it wont stop them from using it in a mag, and that's legit for me. You are looking at a single shot, so why not have the best possible one Wink

OK I have read all the posts, I have the answers/explanations you might be looking for. No I am not a pro wakeskater. The total time spent filming for the clip on our website was less than one hour. We were at the lake, we were riding and we had a camera. "This trick sux or this trick is not legit" or whatever else you were bitchin and complaining about is not what you were thinking about when you first started wakeskating. You started because its fun and because it can get you laid. I wakeskate almost every day because I love to do it. I am scrapping pennies out from between the couch cushions to put gas in the boat to go ride today. We will have a better clip up soon so you can gossip about that one too. I am glad to see there are alot of wakeskaters out there who are positive about the sport and enthusiastic about OAk's arrival. We have been busting our balls and emtying our wallets to make these rad skates so I hope you kids like em. Love us Hate us whatever, as a wakeskater im tellin you these boards rock. I checked out some of the movies on this site and you guys are rippin, keep it up stay innovative and get out on the water. Oh and Mike T. Does look like a pirate but not on purpose, actually he looks more like the manfish from the movie Waterworld played by Kevin Koster. Thanks for the love and the hate, I will be back to reveal more news about OAK and stories from the lake. - Ryan F.

P.S. I have no idea if I landed that particular "T.S. Indy Shuvit" I did a bunch that day some landed, some ragdolled. That was one of the better shots though. Unfortunatley that pic will have to leave all of us guessing.

Nekkie, That doesn't bother me as much I guess. As long as it was that day and the rider can and has landed the trick.

sloth, ah cool to hear from you, I was trying to get to you guys with the trick name joke hehe... Who cares what it's called when it looks good like in that shot. I seriously like it!

I hope you didn't take our gossiping personaly, it's just that seeing that in a demo video for a new co seemed a bit surprising. I never said it sucked and all that I want to see is people that ride like reed. I love going out on the boat with people that just carve around. When you see their smile you know something is right Very Happy Cause that's what it's really about.

But that's not what wake business is about. You are going to get judged on small and silly things like that. You could say wtf and don't give a shizzle about it, but it can play a role for the co in the end. oh, and i'm not really talking about what people on here would think, that you couldn't care less lol, but what people involved in the industry could think.

keep pushing it sloth, what the industry needs is more core riders like you!

(edit: yeah after reading my 3 paragraphs post I figured it could be resumed by: slotch, good luck brother. Laughing )
