I got a nice little surprise today when I took the griptape off my warped/waterlogged/now chipped k-39 today!!

too bad I woln't be able to afford a new board for something like 75748 years..oo well I'm still LOVING what I got!

throw in the picture of the warp just for kicks..

you think thats trashed you should see my scape. the layers of ply wood are pealing off it, and the bottom is tottal eaten away. Just imagin your board but five times worse.

Has anyone noticed the bi-level bottom decks come pre-warped? My friend received his new G2 bottom deck and the thing looks slighty warped right out of the box...

Thats because its a wood deck. It will happen depending on if they use a hot press or cold press method of mfg. It will either warp or delam or sometimes both depending on the mfg method.

Its wood and wood is alive and naturally wants to go back to its original state.
