i just got mine yesterday. i love it, i've wanted one for so long. does anyone else have piercings or anything like that? i now have a total of 5 on my ears: left cartilage, left lobe, right lobe, and now the industrial.
For those who don't know, an industrial is a double piercing with a single bar in the cartilage. it usually goes from the top to the side.
Heres an example: http://steelnavel.com/catalog.asp?ID=47 _________________ R.I.P. Jim Taylor

Ive got five. When the chick pierced my tragus, it took three pushes with all her weight behind her (she was a big girl) to get it through. Dam that hurt! That one and my nipple was probably the most painful.
Taylor, did the piercer tell you how long it should take to heal? I want to link up my tragus with an industrial piercing but i dunno if i can be bothered waiting for it to heal. |

KGH, damn dude, i'd never get a tragus. my next one might be either a rook or a conch.
He didn't give me a specific length of time, but its been only a day and it doesn't hurt anymore and i took a nap earlier today and slept on the ear. not really that painful anymore. however, people heal differently and quite honestly i'd be afraid to link a tragus with a industrial because that beach would snag on so many things, but whatever floats your boat. _________________ R.I.P. Taylor, Yeah i thought about it getting snagged but i think if the piercer does a good job the metal should sit nice and close to the skin. But i just thought about it getting ripped out and 3 cartilage piercing's being ripped would probably take a big chuck of skin with it.
I might just go the tunnels, that'll impress the parents and the boss |

I have my lobes stretched out and my lip pierced on the left side, I was planning on piercing the right side too but don't feel like going through that healing process again. I'm more into tattoos now too. _________________

I've got my left nipple done. DIdn't hurt as much as I thought it would though. I want to pierce something else, but I can't decide what. And groinal region is definitely not an option _________________ Rock hard, ride free |

This is not meant as an attack at anyone at all, just a question. Several of you have said you got pierced and are not really into that anymore, more into tattooing now. What about in a couple of years when you are not really into that either?
I am not against piecing or tattoos, just struck me as weird that's all. _________________ Sattelyte Wakeskates

Cary K., that's why I only stick with piercings, cus I can take them out if I get bored.
I wanted a tatoo for a while, but its just too permanent _________________ Rock hard, ride free |
