HAGGARD!!! hey, just tell "the owner of the shop you work at now" what happened. we both know he'll kick the kids ass and he wont need a wakeboard after that. then you don't owe him anything. p.s. the bi-lev is ok. but i want to try the impulse since you've been raving about it. _________________

It's Karma for sure. Just tell him to blow it out his ass. You told him the truth and made the attempt to drive around and find it. It's not like you were neglegent with his stuff and left the tailgate down to do doughnuts in the street and his shizzle fell out, you were trying to get his stuff back to him and some bad luck happened. Friends understand when bad luck happens and friends know that their loss is your loss. If they're going to be dicks about it, then forget them and write them off. Their making a tough situation that you already feel bad about, worse. Now, if it's the fact that your worried that they're going to jump you over this? Stand tall, fight hard, and sometimes good people get their asses kicked. It just happens. The main thing is if they try to fight you and they're suposed to be your friends, fight esspessally hard, just don't start it.
P.S. I can't believe I just mis-spelled that word that badly. It's O.K. to mis-spell words in forums, but that is so bad it makes me feel retarded. I'm going to leave it that way as my own punishment. |

well look at it like this:
if you had all of the equipment in your truck and someone broke in and stole it all... would it be YOUR fault and would you have to replace it?
not to mention he stole it thats pretty wack dude. if i stole something and someone lost it i would definately get over it and not piss and moan like a baby because it never was mine to begin with. just because he's acting like a stereotypical tool bag doesn't mean you need to re-emburse a thief.
but thats just my 2 cents. |
