Why would u wanna go pro?

the only reason i would go pro is so i could quit my job all i need is a gas station sponsor and like 600-800 a month and i could be set.

and yeah there are riders that are making a descent living besides grubb, like byerly, G.daniels, brandon thomas, bassino, and few others. granted the first three are hyperlight riders but they maqke their money from photo incentives from other companies liuke nautique and oneal.

You guys would be suprised of how many wakeskaters make a good living. If your on a company that makes good $$$ and your all over the mags and vids, your set..

If you're going pro in any sport other then for "reason C" then you're in it for all the wrong reasons. (IMO, once the love is gone whats the point?)

Plus:

Money: Not much in wakeskating, unless you get LOTS of press.

Fame: Ha, yeah you might be recognized at a pro tour stop, that's about it. The Wakeskating industry isn't much about the red carpet and sparkles....
