keeping tricks a secret

there are a lot of people around here, namely vance, alexxx, and other FL users, keeping tricks a secret. im not asking you tell what they are, i just want to know why you keep these things a secret.

maybe they are saving it for somthing big? dont want it to be main stream? dont want every 1 calling it bs untill a vid is ready? it could be a lot of things.

i know what ur talking about but not a specific case. the biggest trick in wakeskating was landing yesterday and i got a phone call from nick telling me and a lil bit after it was on the boards so obviously it just depends on who is throwing it and their perspective on things.

the only things i keep secretive are personaliies of some people and dealings between people and companies but thats outta respect and morals.

Maybe people are trying to Keep a quiet cool. Back when I was strapping and stuck a new move I wouldn't tell my other friends (who weren;t there), I would just stick the trick next time I rode with them. They'd all be like Shocked

and I would just Cool

"what, you never seen me throw that before?".

On message boards it can be the same way but maybe they are waiting to get it on film, like hayden said.

jboss, THERE not keeping tricks a secret there keeping what certain riders (lemons/nicky-t) dont want people to know about untill such is life comes out. I know ryan told me not to say anything, so im going to respect that. And you should respect that also. Anyway hugs not drugs

If your in the process of making a vid, it's way better to wait until the vid comes out for people to find out. Then it makes your part even better, and the vid sells..

I never make an effort to keep tricks secret, I don't like having secrets in wakeskating... and if you're talking about alexx and all them keeping my 3 flip secret, it wasn't even a serious possibility until 2 days ago, not really worth mentioning...

Hardflip = FS Shuv + kickflip

Varialflip = BS Shuv + kickflip

360 flip = BS 360 Shuv + kickflip

vflip= bs shuvit + kick flip

3 flip= bs *360* shuvit + kickflip

hardflip= *FS* shuvit + kickflip

* means its important part of the trick Laughing
