Straight up, frickin awesome band. I got there new album a week ago and it hasn't left my cd player in my car yet. Mars Volta rocks.

the vocals can be a BIT much sometimes, actually a lot of times.

but the instrumentals are amazing.

anyone who hasnt listened to them really should, theyre a great band of this time.

theyre kind of along the lines of pink floyd/i don't know what else. with some salsa beat and trance thrown in there.

i hear them as a modern zeppelin its just zeppelin of 2005 pushed even father musically

i think they're more of a modern floyd than zeppelin. most of zeppelin's stuff wasn't that far out, even for its time... but pink floyd... and the mars volta... they were and are treading fairly new ground with sound. gnarly white man fro's too.

i've been trying to download some from kaaza and every file is freakin corrupt... just blank sound... i hate that.. kaaza blows sometimes

warlock, kaaza blow all the time and it fizzle up your computer too. Try using limewire.com

hammer49, limewire is worse for your computer than kazaa... best way to get music is to direct connect with people you actually know using a chat client, an instant messenger, or some other similar type of program.

bit torrent p2p is the best way bar none... but most of the time it's for large file sharing not one song...

i use kaaza cause it's the only thing i knew to get it... and i need to update my norton to keep those bastards in check

De-loused was amazing...Francis the Mute was a huge let down. TMV is playing with System of a Down in T.O....i might have to go just to see how they can re-create those songs live.
