Going from memory, I want to say Bright Eyes - You Get Yours.

But don't hold me to that.

The name of the song is "You Get Yours", but it was actually by Britt Daniel (Bright Eyes lead singer I believe) and Conor Oberst.

yea its 'you get yours', on a split with conor oberst and britt daniel called 'home vol. 4'. oberst is the singer for bright eyes and daniel is the singer for spoon.

Connor Oberst is "Bright Eyes;" it's a one man show. He is part of the Saddle Creek record group, also "The Faint," fron Oklahoma or Nebraska somewhere. I could look it up, but it's late. Thomas has a few songs by these guys (Saddle Creek bands) pepered through the video. "The Calender Hung Itself" during the firecracker scene is also Bright Eyes (Conner Oberst) from the Fevers and Mirrors album (Absolutly amazing!). The Faint is pretty damn amazing as well, but much more synth sound. Either way the song is "You Get Yours" from a collaboration between Conner Oberst and Britt Daniels.

What have we learned?
1. Buy Fevers and Mirrors, it's a great album!
2. Buy other Bright Eyes albums.
3. The Danny Hampson song in Sfumato is "H.O.S.P.I.T.A.L." by "The Faint."
4. Banana flavored rum makes monkeys fight!

oberst isnt in the faint anymore, i beleive he was at one point. he was also in commander venus, and desaparecidos was one of his side projects. saddle creek is really tied together for the most part (it was created by the members of commander venus i believe)...commander venus broke up, oberst went his own way with bright eyes, and some of the others formed cursive. cursive is also related to the white octave, as well as criteria, who has a new cd coming out next month that im hoping will live up to 'en garde'. broken spindles is a guy from the faint, maria taylor i think is dating oberst, the list goes on likely a lot more than i know. but saddle creek is a solid record company to say the least.
