So frye tells me hes going to the wavehouse , one of thoes man made wave machines, and links me to a webcam that is a live feed of it. he tells me he will be on at 2PM. so i wasnt planning on sititng around, but i did happen to be at the comp at the time so i decided to check it out, and he told hed have a red bathing suit on and dreads, so i knew what to look for. anyways i captured the perfect shot that basically sums up all of his runs on the machine. he was the only one entering the wave from the bottom lol. and his runs lasted like 10seconds at the most haha. good job frye Very Happy

hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahah wow. we got some pics ill post later. at like 2:53 i could stay on it for as long as i wanted. but then some kid went on the boogie board and stayed on till it ended. and i only started from the bottom once and that was with my bro? i then dropped in from the top and did some one acid drop and fell. there was a really hot chick trying it to. i was impressed then she tried it. it was so much harder then i imagined. im thinking about getting a year pass becuase it was one of the funest things i have ever done... this one guy there shredded and says he has been doing it everyday for about 9 months. its only like 20 minutes from my house so im gonna try to go alot and not suck like i did today. Laughing

but anyways the guy had friends that graduated in my old school in singapore. craziness.

Frye, are you in the US now?

Anyway, I heard those things are really hard. We actually just got one of those things in wisconsin about a year ago, but I've never been there yet. I've always wanted to try though, so hopefully I will at some point in the future.

e-snow yea i am in the us. i moved in with my brother. its pretty hard getting the feeling of the water moving under you and not moving yourself.

Ahh, I see.

Yeah, it just looks gnarly. And it's only like an inch of fast moving water, so there really isn't any give when you fall hard. Back when they'd show the tony hawk tour (whatever it was called) on ESPN, there was footage of all of those guys hitting one of those things up. Tony's been doing it forever, but I distinctly remember seeing sal masekela get worked and he dislocated his shoulder. It was awesome because at the time, I thought Sal was a huge dork.

I got season 3 for free when I bought one of the tony hawk video games. Its actually quite enjoyable to watch. I forget if they do the wave in that season, but they do go wakeskating. Jason Ellis thinks if he tried wakeskating for like 3 days, he would be better than anyone who ever rode one. He was probably joking though.
