pwc mods

anyone do any modifications. to there pwc , just wonderin......

and both of the tires on my trailer have gotten so flat they wont re inflate... where can i get new ones or how can i fix this so i can get the pwc into the shop...??

Any decent sized boating stores will have replacement wheels. Try West Marine or something like that unless you have a good local store.

dude, pep boys is cheap, they got tire repair patches and such if you know where the holes are, plus they got some cheap tires, like 35 bucks a tires for trailers. I know b/c i work there Smile

wake-till-i-die, I think he meant like an updated computer chip that you can hookup to like your car computer to give it better performance. I don't think they exist for PWCs, (well no shizzle you might say).

if you look in the back of your ski(usualy under the storage bin under your seat, youll probably have to unscrew the bin to get to it) there is a big metal tube thing and there will be pipes coming out from the top. which has crap to do w/ your exhaust if you chop those pipes and just make it straight it will add some hp. and make your exhaust sound sweet. if you look at an older ski youll see it looks like wut im trying to describe. on the new skis the have all this polution controll crap in there which steals hp. so just get rid of that and just stick a straight pipe coming out.

wouldn't the chip kill the speed limiter?? seems like they do in most car chips anyway..

warlock, u would think but that kinda Hp on a ski will still have some more mph and after 80 i dont think it would even be fun, ive fell off doing around 40 and that crap hurts bad i cant even imaging 60 or even 80. the gvt limits pwc speed to 60 from the factory despite wat some speedo's say its all 60 at very top, i love how some say their sea-doo's run 65-70 and ill be running dead even toped out at 60 and they claim its almost 70. but anywhoo

And it also tops at 60mph and I can clearly see I could go much further in the rpms...

so yeah there is always a speed limiter and people who claim speed over it are talking shizzle if they didn't do anything to the pwc lol

Last weekend my uncle took a dive at 30+ out in the ocean and he didn't like it much either Very Happy

It's always a pain to swim back to the ski when there's a huge swell lol

anything above 30+ starts to hurt, just like in wakeboarding Laughing

also its not a chip they may tell you thats whats doing it but there actually remaping your motor (i.e the fuel air ratio, adgusting the rev. limitor ect.....) trust me kiddies i worked at a jetski shop for a long time and i also used to race. shhh dont tell anyone about the racing thing though Laughing
