Who the F*ck do those penisless bastards at MTV think they are? Their coverage of the Live 8 concerts sucked. They cut off Pink Floyd to cut to a story about a damn T-shirt. Boycott MTV.

you can watch it on the internet, but you're right, the coverage did suck. what's even worse is they let all the bad crap play through. it's probably going to be on DVD, though. and it was amazing anyway.

I was in the states (disneyland SCORE) for the past week, and i checked out mtv every once in a while, and i was super disapointed. Here in the great white north we have muchmusic. See the difference between the two, is that muchmusic actually plays music. All MTV plays is Pimp My Ride over and over and over and over and over and over. I'm gonna go out and say that MTV is the worst "music" station EVER!!

I hate tv in general. TV (except for the Chappel Show) general eally sucks. I agree MTV is they worst, unless your a mall rat that really cares what the next trend is.

I have mixed opinions on that..it's great we're helping Africa and the likes out, but we got problems here too. Lets send all our young people over sea's to fight a faceless war while their families stay back at home and live off of food stamps!! yay for the U.S gov. and their love for the american people!! Live * isnt even supporting africa, they decided not to raise money but to raise awareness. instead of sending starving africans money they just tried to make us aware that the africans are starving. screwy aint it?

sounds pretty worthless to just "raise awareness"? I guess it helps a little bit though, but I mean hell you could "raise awareness" by running prime time commercials about it

Jonesie, Its funny to me how they are trying to raise "awareness" yet no one has said a word about the genocide that is going on in Africa.

And... i actually remember when mtv was coo, like back in the late 80s early 90s you used to be able to sit and watch nothing but videos all day long and NOT see the same video 800 times in one day... with the acception of mtv news.
