Can someone tell me why it costs $105 to ship an Integ to Canada? I could swear it used to be a lot less...

$105 is a joke.They need to get better shipping arrangements.If they could ship USPS it would be around $20 and there isn't the huge custom's fee.

a lot of companies and people (on ebay) use shipping to make a lot more money. I am not saying Int is jacking up prices - I have no idea. I have shipping big things to Canada before for a lot less. I am all for a company or person adding some money for their time if it is a pain in the rear (maybe they have to take it somewhere instead of picking it up) but there are limits. Actually, I guess sellers can do whatever they want - buyers need to make that call.

I would like to say that I really don't think erich is upping the shipping price. UPS is just crazy (seriously--you know, they'll charge more if you have a rural mailing address). I don't know all the details, but he may have a business account with them, which may have something to do with it (again, that's just speculation and NOT fact). Either way, grouch has made it a point to mention that erich gives away free shizzle to compensate for the shipping costs...so I think he's innocent.

But yeah, some ebay dealers are freaking chumps. I HATE when they overcharge...I hate it.

And I will say that the postal service is ridiculously reasonable, based on experience. If at all possible, I feel like they're the way to go, but that's not always feasible for some people.
