butter boards, hmm. researching now....

ok, they're from http://www.tritonsports.com/ but the information is very limited. I'm gonna contact them as I'm interested in the 42 myself.

What a joke. That's no wakeskate. It's just a scaled down Luke Wulf pro model.

"Butter Wakeskates". Whatever. It's just Double Up and/or Triton, however you want to look at it.

Hey Triton, nice move on filching a name that is already synonymous with wakeskating. The only Butter in wakeskating that matters is Butter Publications - makers of the Butter wakeskate book. Support Paco and his vision.

that looks very cool. new designs are always something to think about. i actually think it would ride very very nicely. its relatively skinny, but it doesnt get really skinny at the tip or tail, a bit more like a skateboard. and the back looks different, it seems like itll cut throught the water better somehow.

Keith Lidberg let me try his butter board out the other day. If you're going to compare it to a hyperlite, then butter's a lot better in my opinion. First off, the board's heavier than say, a catalyst or sbg, so it doesn't feel so flimsy. Surface tricks seem to be a lot easier as well, I felt like I could get more pop out of the butter deck. They seem to be more concaved than hyperlites which I thought felt a lot better. The board slid very well, too. Putting in my .02, I think this is a pretty good skate.

because everybody rags on the wakeboard manufacturers that makes wakeskates (hyperlite, obrien, cwb) so they figured make it look like a "core" company or whatever and it will sell

I took a close look at a pic in the latest Butter Wakeskate ad in WBM and I thought it looked pretty sweet. I would definitely like to ride one to try it out. It wasn't anything like the skate in that image in the first post of this topic. It looked like it had concave too.
