thanks for everyones input on this project!
Plastic lining was something we first thought of and I have it sitting in my garage right now.
The mini-digger would be a sweet idea if the spot I chose wasn't a 7-10 minute ride straight back into my woods. Tree's everywhere and yeah it just wouldn't fit. The main reason I wanted to go back so far was to get the feeling of being secluded from the world and just worry about hanging out and having a good time.
The gap sounds like a sweet idea and will definately happen on the first ditch or even a second one.
The hose idea was something else we already thought of but I don't have the dough to buy enough hose to get all the way back there haha.
And I'll be sure to get pics. up of our progress on it.

if any of you have a truck, fill the back end with a huge plastic bag that takes up the entire back. fill it with water and then go back it up in the ditch. it should help fill up faster than 5 buckets.

I skated in a ditch around my house that just naturally filled up with 6 inches of water it was damn near 80 ft long. it was behind this neighborhood but the grass around it was really nice so we used my riding mower to tow us so we didn't tear up the grass. Some jerk that lives nearby came by took our license plates, called the cops and filed a police report for criminal vandalism, WHAT A DOUCHE. we were just trying to have some fun and stay out of trouble, old people suck

Jonesie wrote: | since I don't have a boat or a PWC yet (I am looking for a pwc so if anyone knows anything about one let me know) we decided to dig a ditch in the woods behind my house to ride in. We are going to use the ATV to pull us and hopfully we are going to put a rail in it and what not.
The point of this post was to see if we are ok on our dimensions. We are going for about 1 and a half foot deep, 4 and a half foot wide, and 20-30 foot long. Does this seem logical, or our we a little off?
thanks for any help/comments |

How could you fit a ATV back there but not a small tractor the size of a ATV? Or a trailer?
