i have recently become obsessed with the bilevel and how it supposed to feel like a skateboard and everything and im startin to save up for one. then i started to think that im not gonna be ridin too much this summer but next sumer ill have a camp and will be ridin all the time. so then i realized that companies always improve their products every season. anyone think i should wait out for the 2006 bilevels, which may be lighter and have more pop, maybe even 4 trac feature, or is the bilevel good enough now to buy one? cuz its lookin REEEEALY good right now. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

if youre gonna think like that, why not wait till 2007? or 2012?
i'd find a board NOW that you like and buy it. spend some time with it. cuddle with it. ride it until it breaks and then get a new one. then again i dont know what the deal is with cassette or with their bi-level. maybe someone can update you with some current info as to how far theyve come as far as taking care of their warrantied boards. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

one thing that i see as a negative is those 4 screws on the bottom of the board hte totaly stick out i mean if yorue hitting sldiers and kickers all day it must suck and mess up the rail/ and or kicker _________________ You only live life once so live it to the fullest

-=AlexXx=-, the only thing that would definately make me make up my mind was if i actually rode one and tried it out, but thats not gonna happen, so i dont wanna spend almost $300 on a board that i may not like, especially with all the delaming and whatnot. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

jboss,
You think you will make it to any of the Free Ride events in LA this season? If so, I'll have my bi-level and you can ride it all day long... |

Nekkie Thanks kid.
The new bi-level for 06 is going to be stronger and we have something big as far as advancing the design.
The 05 replacement should be going out soon I know I know we( me included) have all heard this before but the new batch is supposed to ship soon. I will update you as I get info.

it is a tough call . . . and this applies to many different things - cars, computers, stereo, etc - next year's model will ALWAYS be better then this years. If you are obessessed with this line of thought, you will a) either never buy something or b) never be happy with what you buy.
Now, that said, I really do not think bi-level is the future of wakeskating. I could be totally wrong . . . we shall see. I for one have no interst in them - they are just not what I see as the beauty of wakeskating. A simple wood board and the direct conneciton to the water. I decided to switch from wakeboarding to skating because of this - less technogy, less money, etc.
Anyhow - whatever you do - KNOW it is the correct decision. If you get a bi now, you were right to do it. If you wait, then you are right to do it. _________________ Kampus K39 with foam and Keen Sandals
