Well this summer had been goin great so far I had been riding alot and progressing pretty fast. I even stuck my first kickflip a few days ago.
Well yesterday was awesome the water was perfectly flat and i was riding pretty good. Then I went for a kickflip which I though I was gonna stick unfortunately I came down awkward on my front foot and broke my ankle.

Anyways does anyone have any tips for me on how to make the best of my summer as good as i can without the use of an ankle, because right now its killin me. So far ive thought of makin a whinch and fishing but i cant come up with much. Well thats about it I think ill be on these message boards alot more this summer.

kyle41, you could always if you play an instrument start a band or take up an intrument, also you can go out and get some filming of youre friends and make a video or at least start it until yu can fil youre section of it.

kyle41,

I was out skating on it a week after the walking boot came off and by 2 weeks later I was out going W2W. I also did some of my own physical therapy and really tried to get it moving.

It is different for everybody, so just take it easy and go at your own pace. You dont want to re-injure it right away. If all goes well, you will be completely healed by the end of July.

well i finally got back on the water today its been 6 weeks since the last time i had a wakeskate under my feet. i still have my cast on but its waterproof so i duct taped a flip flop to the bottom for grip and to make it a little more stable. Ill have to say it was probly one of the best runs of my life. I couldnt do much but just the feeling of slashing up the water put the biggest damn grin on my face. I get my cast off on wednesday so hopefully ill be back to shreddin in a week or two after that.
