or is there a more "marine grade"?? is there a brand that is more prefered or works best?

the guy who owns the skate shop that i go to here in town really wasn't up on wakeskating.. so i sent him some videos etc...showed him this website and he told me yesterday that they are going to start carring cassette, and he'd be talking to thomas (he couldn't remember his name) but he's sending him a bi-level to try out. i told him about getting the kampus boards blank off ebay and was going to need to grip tape them... he had no idea what would work best.... so i thought i'd ask.

Yea i would say jessup to. I tried black magic, cause i think its better on skateboards, but it all peeled off after like one run. i have never had a problem with jessup.

Jessup is what i prefer, although i have had pretty good luck with black magic... but i still prefer Jessup over the rest... Normal skate grip will peel back in the water. No matter what make sure you clean the surface of your board very well before applying ANY brand of grip!
