Trying kickflips for the second week, flicked one and the nose caught the water and snapped the top deck at the screws. The thing is it snapped from hitting the water, not from me landing/pushing down to hard on it. Good news is before it snapped I stuck the biggest backside shuv i've ever done, came out of turn popped the board and I must have caught the thing 2 feet above the water...those are the ones that feel really good.

so should I buy and Integ....please don't answer that question Laughing

I wonder if skateboarders will soon switch to aluminum decks so they'll last longer. Crazy Eyes

gotwake83, Yeah they did... it was a pile of crap, on another note there is a kid who has a patent on a complete carbon fiber skateboard that is pretty pimp, it pops really good and well he let me run one of with the F350 over and over and it wouldn't break... i was quite impressed.

I dont think he has a name for his company yet, but i will let everybody know whats up with them because they are pretty damn kewl.

SleuCreu, that sounds pretty mad, got any pics?

And with the F350, did you run over it with trucks on? Or jsut the deck lying on the ground?

littleblightie, No i dont... and i actually have a written non-disclosure i had to sign when i was in the factory, so im not even really able to talk about it much more than that. But i will say its way better than anything i have ever seen as far as a composite skate deck.

I know that almost is working with rodney mullen on a full carbon fiber deck as well. They showed it in one of the 05 product guide skateboarding mags. It's part of their attempt at reinventing all parts of the board. They have 50 of these "uber boards" made i believe. They must have paid quite a bit to the kid that has the patent on them.

bulletproof boards used to make really awesome carbon decks they were uber hard to break, also. . . . .I have a friend who had probably ridden his new Bi about 4 times when it started delamming, and his old one, made it about 5-6 rides before it did the same, if he wants to say something he can other wise youll just have to wonder who it is, anyways I just spend part of my river trip resealing it for him, so maybe it will last til he can buy a tougher board, I like cassette and all, but the durabiliuty on the Bis is ludacris end of story
