wow, whats up with all the "this or that" posts... im sure there is 10-100 of each somewhere on the site. SEARCH.
ive never rode a liberation contact head hunter, he rides for them and i think he love the boards. but integ is a great brand, long lasting, and durable. |

It will take quite a bit of work to sand down the rails...unless your using an electic sander then be careful.
They are both killer boards. I personally ride the Liberation and love it, but two of my friends have the Integrity's and those are great too. Its a total preference call.
Good luck on the decision. |

it'll take you about 3.4 seconds with a belt sander
kidding. dont use one of those. just get a sanding block and go at it by hand. it will take an hour or two. maybe less, maybe more depending on the different distractions, etc. i actually sanded the rails a bit on my integrity this afternoon then applied a coat of school but yellow paint to the rails. short bus styles...
the rails on the integ kinda feel vaguely similar wood when you are sanding them. they arent impossibly hard to sand, but at the same time you dont have to worry about sanding them off in 3 seconds because it takes a bit of work to round them or what not. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

scott a, hahhaha... a belt sander would be rad!
I have never actually re-shaped a Integrity or a Liberation, but i have always preferred to use a palm sander on my decks, you just have to be a little careful. _________________ arson-wake.com |

The shape of the liberation reminds me a lot of an Integrity. Specifically the top where the kicktails are, but thats just from pictures, I have never seen a liberation skate. _________________

SleuCrew, when i was looking for my 60 grit sandpaper i came across my dad's belt sander with ~30ish grit (must have been for metal or something) and i went so far as to pull the thing out off the shelf and walk it over to the work bench. i think if i could have figured out a way to clamp the my board down i might have given that a shot. its probably a good thing i didnt though _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

| rob wharton, Yes they both have the pre-kick on top, but the Integrity is an inch wider and an inch shorter. They both ride totally diferent but they are both great boards. |

ive riden both and i would go with integ. ull be much happier, but the liberation is a killer board and i love the guys at liberation, cant say enough for the customer support that bj slater does.
both are composite and have shapable edges
both will last
liberation has more traction and if u do w2w and dont like fins than its the one for you.
imteg is very skidish depending on ur rails and how u shaped em.
the lib is a lil light but once ur used to it it is amazing. i can ollie them both the same but they feel different.
the liberation is also a bigger board its says 42 buts its more like 43 but trust me, its light so dont let that deter u, i like 41's and after a few rides im big on surface area.
hope this helps.
