No. The winch in this link (http://www.wakeskating.com/showarticle.php?a=161) is a ReWind Winch, the company that created the original winch. They are very hard to get your hands on.
The winch in this link (http://www.wakeskating.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2997) is a attempt to create another type of winch by Kento and his Pirate Winches, which almost everyone on wakeskating.com supports. Keep in mind that despite that everyone says the Pirate Winch is better, it is not known how it actually runs and whether it is better, because according to Kento, it is still under construction.

Yeah... good point numb... I've PMed Kento a few times and has definately been awesome about everything. That sucks abotu ReWind though... didn't know the backstory on that one. Yeah the hypoxic looks pretty killer but a hefty tag. I'd love to be able to build one though. My dad has a construction company so I can get ahold of everything i need including the machinery. besides i do that i could get some killer paint job goin haha
--I would KILL for Kento's CAD cd..... KILL. haha

so i'm assuming the hypoxic is the only winch that is actually up for retail sale then? everyone else is just full of empty promises and Kento's still working the bugs out... bummer that 2k price tag will put quite the dent in my summer party fund... oh welllll. i was just interested in whatever one they were talking about in the link because they said it would be about 1300...
